The Project Manager, Professional Servicesis responsible for supporting the successful execution of Professional Services delivery with our customers through project management. They will manage the work and resources associated with the initiative, including crafting requirements, delegating responsibilities, tracking, and change management. The Project Manager will define success metrics and document timelines, status, and results for each project under their direction and often work in partnership with partners and Professional Services leaders and principals to achieve success. They will champion significant projects, programs and business initiatives using demonstrated creativity and ingenuity. This position is remote-friendly.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery efforts of Professional Services projects in support of client delivery teams that involve multiple concurrent work streams.
  • You will have direct interactions with external customers and partners.  
  • Support Professional Services staff by owning and executing project plans to completion
  • Build cross functional relationships and partnerships across the enterprise and with our Partners.
  • Facilitate requirements gathering sessions with cross-functional project teams and customers.
  • Develop roadmaps and timelines to drive action and set realistic expectations.
  • Actively engage with our customers and effectively execute projects whilst accurately reporting status, risks, challenges and mitigation plans
  • Conduct project post-mortems to review results and obtain feedback to apply to future projects.
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as needed to drive project and team success.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of functional experience with project management activities
  • 4+ years of project management experience, specifically working with external stakeholders in a customer-facing role
  • Experience and ability to lead across functional and collaborative teams.
  • Demonstrated ownership and accountability of results in an end-to-end project lifecycle.
  • Proven ability to move fast in an ambiguous environment without close supervision.
  • Ability to independently manage and prioritize various workstreams with competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Relationship builder able to clearly communicate complex ideas.
  • Knowledge of Alteryx Designer and Server products highly preferred
  • Experience with Smartsheet, Microsoft Tasks, Confluence, Asana or other project management tools
  • Customer Success, Support, Operations, or Enablement experience
  • FinancialForce experience a plus
  • PMP Certification a plus

Compensation:

Alteryx is committed to fair, equitable, and transparent compensation. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as your relevant work experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location. 

The salary range for this role is $110,000 – $151,000, factoring in locations such as New York, California, Texas, DC, North Carolina, and Massachusetts.

In addition, you may be eligible for other compensation, such as a bonus. Employees may also be eligible for a wide range of other benefits, including medical, retirement, financial, wellness, time off, employee discounts, and others.
