Salary/Position Classification

  • $20.00 – $23.00 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
  • 19 hours per week
  • 100% Remote Work Availability: Yes
  • Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): Yes

Purpose of Position

The primary responsibility for this temp position is to provide a variety of program support to the State Office of Rural Health (SORH) which is a federal Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA) grant program. The Position will be supervised by the SORH Program Director. May consider remote or hybrid work arrangements.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist with the development and distribution of rural health information and materials.
  • Assist with planning and coordination of meetings, webinars, events, conferences (local, regional, statewide).
  • Coordinate with the CRH communications team to prepare news releases and media.
  • Assist with the development of survey tools using Qualtrics. Organize, document, track data and information.
  • Additional program related duties, as needed, in support of the ND State Office of Rural Health. 

Required Competencies

  • Experience with coordinating and arranging meetings of all types, this includes working with both internal and external partners to assist with the planning and scheduling of events.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Email and Calendar
  • Ability to understand basic data.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills.
  • High level of attention-to-detail.
  • Must be able to travel to regional program events including, but not limited to June 17-19 Bismarck ND, June 23-26 Grand Forks ND, July 14-17 Minot ND.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • One year of experience working in project coordination or program development.
  • Experience using computers/software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience using videoconferencing platforms such as Zoom or similar.
  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
