Responsibilities
- Post payments to PM systems with a high degree of accuracy.
- Reconcile payment batches with deposit logs and payment summaries.
- Review ERA kick-outs and reconcile ERA batches to EFTs.
- Retrieve missing EOBs from payer websites.
- Own assigned payment posting batches and ensure timely completion.
- Reconcile patient accounts, correcting errors to ensure accurate balances.
Requirements
- 2+ years’ experience in Payment Posting within US Healthcare.
- Strong knowledge of Revenue Cycle Management (RCM).
- Familiarity with nuances of major payors.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and strong typing skills.
- Solid written communication skills.
- Understanding of US Healthcare acronyms and nomenclature.
- Experience with NextGen preferred.
- Immediate joiners strongly preferred.
Experience
- 2–7 years in payment posting or related US healthcare revenue cycle roles.
