What You’ll Do
- Call patients to explain and review medication titration recommendations from Cadence Nurse Practitioners and the patient’s physician.
- Answer questions and help patients understand how disease specific medications fit into their overall care plan.
- Provide clear, empathetic communication that keeps patients engaged, reassured, and on track with their treatment.
- Document every interaction with precise, compliant notes in Cadence systems, following HIPAA and internal clinical protocols.
- Flag issues, concerns, or barriers to adherence and coordinate with the wider care team when escalation is needed.
- Own your daily workload, consistently meeting quality standards, timelines, and service expectations.
What You Need
- Active Medical Assistant certification from an accredited association such as AAMA, AAH, NAHP, NHA, AMT, or NCCT.
- At least 5 years of experience working as a Medical Assistant.
- Proven experience working in environments that require strict HIPAA compliance and protection of patient privacy.
- A quiet, secure home office setup that supports confidential clinical conversations and stable internet connectivity.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain medication related information in plain language.
- Strong time management, reliability, and follow through while working independently.
- Comfort using multiple software systems and tools in a fast paced, mission driven setting.
