PRINCIPAL COLLECTIONS REPRESENTATIVE – ROBINSON FRESH

C.H. Robinson is seeking a talented Principal Collections Representative who excels in working autonomously to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with high-volume customers and offices, utilizing your expertise to provide exceptional customer service and act as a valuable resource for team members. Your keen eye for identifying key issues and patterns from complex and conflicting data will enable you to generate innovative solutions. As a Principal Collections Representative, you will set an example for others, showcasing your dedication to outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities:

Serve as a collections expert, recommending solutions to unexpected situations
Utilize advanced skills and expertise to recover aging invoices and accelerate cash flow
Gather and analyze data to solve complex problems with little or no precedent
Coordinate with stakeholders to improve efficiencies and achieve targeted results
Contribute ideas for process improvement based on organizational objectives
Develop professional relationships, maintain open communication, and provide timely service to internal and external customers
Continually develop skills and knowledge of collections process and business acumen
Serve as a mentor to team members as they develop their collections experience
Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED
Minimum 6 years of collections, cash applications, credit, accounts payable, or customer service experience
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
Preferred Qualifications:

Associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
Effective and flexible communication skills
Extensive customer service experience and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated critical thinking skills and ability to make sound, timely decisions
Ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
Initiative and persistence in approaching work
