What we’re looking for
Vacasa is looking for a Manager, Pricing & Yield, where you will play a critical role in optimizing revenue performance across our global portfolio of vacation homes. This leadership position is integral to our Revenue Management strategy, driving pricing and demand optimization to maximize revenue for both Vacasa and our homeowners.
As a Revenue Management leader, you will leverage data-driven insights to forecast consumer demand, execute dynamic pricing strategies, and refine business processes to enhance market competitiveness. You will be responsible for managing up to $800M in annual revenue, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams in Finance, Marketing, Sales, Operations, Data Science, and IT to align strategy and execution.

What you’ll do
- Lead a team of 5+ analysts and specialists to maximize homeowner & Vacasa revenue across your assigned portfolio using revenue management and pricing strategies.
- Setup long-range revenue strategies based on historical data and execute against real-time market conditions.
- Communicate analysis and strategies to senior leadership, design departmental business processes, analyze the effects that strategies have on performance, and work on projects that help us improve our overall revenue and advance our goals.
- Strategically plan and execute all pricing and yield activities including seasonal pricing, package pricing, cancellation rules, pricing tests, promotional programs, early bird and last minute discounts
- Forecast performance of next business cycles and advise finance and operations counterparts of challenges and opportunities to support P&L optimization.
- Collaborate with leaders and stakeholders across the organization and develop strong relationships with Operations, Sales, Marketing, Revenue Analysis, Owner Experience & Onboarding teams to identify opportunities and continually improve revenue performance & ensure that Vacasas’s revenue management strategy is understood and supported by other teams across the company.
- Use advanced modeling and tools to forecast changes to guest demand, competitive environment and market dynamicsUnderstanding of the marketplace and pricing/yield strategies to drive a competitive advantage based on consumer buying behavior.
- Analyze the market dynamics & competitive landscape to identify trends in order to develop strategies and make evidence-based decisions based on quantitative analysis to drive revenue growth.
- Monitors trends in reservations, occupancy, rates, fees & overall revenue to identify problems and opportunities, initiates appropriate actions, measures results and quickly pivots.
Skills you’ll need
- BS in Economics, Finance, Engineering, Math, Analytics or equivalent areas (Masters of Business Administration or related field preferred)
- At least 2 years of experience in revenue management and pricing, preferably in the short-term rental industry
- At least 2 years of direct people and project management experience
- Demonstrated experience with SQL and business intelligence tools (Tableau preferred)
- Skilled in Spreadsheets (Google Sheets, Excel)
- Demonstrated analytical and automation skills, including the ability to assemble information, extract pertinent facts, draw logical conclusions, and present recommendations
- Interest in optimization problem-solving, economic game theory, and consumer buying behavior
- Ability to make independent judgments and decisions while taking ownership of job responsibilities
- Self-starter with unrelenting intellectual curiosity
- Ability to handle multiple priorities at the same time, and prioritize in a time sensitive environment based on revenue impact
Compensation
- $80000 – $90000 / year. Actual pay will vary based on a candidate’s skill, experience, education and/or location.
