Schedule
- Full-time, 40 hours per week (non-exempt)
- Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm
- 100% remote (U.S.-based)
What You’ll Do
- Receive, review, route, and file clinical document requests (consult notes, disability requests, subpoenas) using established workflows and EMR documentation standards
- Triage inbound admin calls and Athena “Admin Phone Messages,” routing or escalating per protocol
- Coordinate medical records: upload and index external records in the EMR, resolve missing/incomplete data, and follow up with patients or providers as needed
- Coordinate Midi requests for external medical records and support all SOPs that include medical records steps
- Monitor and manage Medical Records Slack requests: tag cases, escalate urgent items, and maintain closure statuses
- Initiate, track, and confirm referrals and consult orders, coordinating between patients, referring providers, and Midi clinicians through completion
- Deliver post-visit documents to patients when automated processes don’t capture everything
What You Need
- Experience in telehealth operations, medical assistant support, or virtual healthcare administration
- Proficiency with Athena (EMR) and comfort working across multiple communication platforms (including Slack)
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and consistent follow-through
- Clear written and verbal communication with patient-friendly tone
- Healthcare terminology knowledge and HIPAA compliance awareness
- Basic technical comfort (video tools, telehealth platform troubleshooting)
