Schedule
• Full-time, remote within the U.S.
• Monday–Friday
• Shifts fall between 8 a.m.–5 p.m. ET and 10 a.m.–7 p.m. ET
• 9-hour shift including a 1-hour break
• Training (first 3–4 weeks): Monday–Friday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m. ET

What You’ll Do
• Conduct inpatient case reviews in hospital EMRs to validate admission status and medical necessity
• Identify key clinical elements and apply utilization review principles
• Perform Peer-to-Peer discussions with payer medical directors
• Provide guidance that improves compliance and supports appropriate reimbursement
• Recommend process improvements and identify inefficiencies
• Document findings with clarity and accuracy
• Collaborate with clinical and operational stakeholders
• Participate in training, education, and performance initiatives

What You Need
• MD or DO with strong, current clinical knowledge
• Active, unrestricted U.S. medical license (at least one state)
• Board certification preferred
• Specialties accepted: Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Hospitalist, Nephrology, Hem/Onc, General Surgery, Family Practice, Critical Care, Infectious Disease
• At least 1 year of acute adult inpatient hospital experience within the last 5 years, or recent physician advisor experience
• Experience working in a hospital EMR
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• High comfort level with technology and remote workflow
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
