The opportunity

Exciting news – Mixmax crossed $10 million in annual revenue!  We’re looking for Senior People Operations Specialist to help us continue growing and supporting our organization. This role reports directly to the Global Head of Talent and will provide administrative support to the People Operations function. As the People Operations Specialist, you will be the main point of contact for employees for all human resources-related inquiries. You will make an impact by providing a positive onboarding experience for all of our new employees while providing exceptional customer service to our existing team mates. 

Within three months, you’ll:

  • Be the main point of contact for all human resources-related inquiries from employees. Including but not limited to questions about payroll, benefits, PTO, leave of absence, policies, and employment verifications.
  • Own our onboarding process end-to-end, including systems access and equipment.  
  • Process new employees, terminations, and personnel changes into our HRIS.
  • Ensure payroll and benefits (e.g., leaves, insurance)  run smoothly and are administered correctly
  • Own all internal tooling related to employee and HR matters e.g., payroll, benefits, insurance, HRIS etc. and make sure data is up to date.
  • Verify and run employee expense reimbursements

Within six months, you’ll:

  • Assist with planning and organizing employee events and offsites.
  • Own all HR compliance-related matters e.g., background checks, I-9 forms etc.
  • Provide guidance to employees on company HR policies and procedures.
  • Assist with Ad hoc HR projects 
  • Conduct Enps surveys.
  • Conduct and document all exit interviews.
  • Provide a monthly HR report to both management and C-Level.

  • Stellar attention to detail
  • A minimum of 2 years of related experience is required. 
  • Experience handling new employee onboarding
  • Great verbal and written communication skills.
  • Startup experience and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Good understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures.
  • You are a problem solver and someone who loves taking the initiative to improve things around you.
  • You have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience

Bonus Points:

  • PHR certification
  • Experience using BambooHR
