What You’ll Do
- Serve as the first point of contact for payroll activities (new hires, terminations, tax changes, deductions, direct deposits, and special pays)
- Review and verify employee timecards, ensuring 100% approval in the Time & Attendance system
- Maintain vacation, sick leave, and worker’s compensation records
- Provide employees with guidance on payroll questions and issues
- Prepare tax deposits and reports; generate and distribute checks
- Support compensation staff with survey data gathering and special projects
- Compile reports on pay and identify process improvements to streamline payroll services
What You Need
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2–3 years of payroll experience with knowledge of Federal and State regulations
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience with payroll software (Dayforce and/or UltiPro highly desirable)
- Strong analytical, auditing, and reporting skills
- Detail orientation with the ability to multi-task in a high-paced environment
- Clear written communication skills and ability to work across all organizational levels
- Integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality
