- Full-time, remote eligible (also listed in Lehi, UT and Plano, TX)
- Supports an exempt and hourly workforce
- Works closely with Payroll Manager, People Team, Accounting, and Finance
What You’ll Do
- Assist with end-to-end payroll processing for exempt and hourly employees
- Process payroll changes: new hires, terminations, status updates, tax changes, deductions, and garnishments
- Support timecard processing, off-cycle payrolls, and manual checks
- Validate payroll data and resolve discrepancies before final transmission
- Serve as a primary contact for employee payroll questions with strong customer service
- Maintain payroll records in compliance with federal, state, and local labor/tax laws
- Support leave of absence and workers’ comp administration as it impacts payroll
- Build and improve scalable payroll workflows and documentation as the company grows
- Prepare payroll and benefits journal entries for the general ledger
- Reconcile payroll-related GL accounts monthly and resolve discrepancies
- Gather data for payroll tax and benefits audits
- Help maintain payroll process and control documentation
What You Need
- 2–4 years of progressive payroll administration experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, HR, or related field (preferred)
- FPC or CPP certification (a plus)
- Strong payroll systems experience and strong Excel skills
- Workday experience (strongly preferred)
- Solid understanding of payroll processes, US labor laws, taxation, and compliance
- Multi-state payroll and taxation experience (highly valued)
- High attention to detail and comfort handling sensitive/confidential info
- Employee-service mindset, strong communication, and a “get it done” attitude
