This one is for a numbers person who can tell the story behind the numbers. You’re basically building the “payments command center” for leadership: KPIs, dashboards, insights, and cross-functional projects that push payment adoption and profitability, while staying clean on PCI and HIPAA.
About PracticeTek
PracticeTek builds software for retail healthcare practices (chiropractic, dental, vision, wellbeing, etc.), covering everything from practice management to analytics, intake, EHR, and payments, serving 40,000+ clinics. You’ll be in a big, multi-brand ecosystem where payments performance is a core lever.
Schedule
- Full time, remote
- Compensation listed as
{salary}in the post (so you’ll want to ask early in process) - Benefits eligible
What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain a payments KPI framework so leadership can see trends, risks, and opportunities clearly
- Deliver insights on payment attachment, profitability, segmentation, onboarding, compliance, and go-to-market effectiveness
- Create dashboards, reports, and models that make complex data decision-ready for senior leaders
- Lead cross-functional work with Finance, BI, Engineering, Sales/Marketing, and Customer Success to improve efficiency and drive revenue
- Track external trends in payments and healthcare and connect them back to product performance and strategy
- Ensure analysis and recommendations align with PCI, HIPAA, and payment data security expectations
What You Need
- Bachelor’s in analytics/ops/stats or similar (MBA is a plus)
- 2–5 years in business analysis, payments, SaaS, or healthcare tech with measurable impact
- Advanced Excel plus SQL, and strong comfort in BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker) and Salesforce
- Experience creating KPI frameworks and translating data into executive-ready recommendations
- Ability to tie analytics to outcomes (revenue growth, profitability, adoption)
- Working knowledge of compliance/data security in payments (PCI) and healthcare (HIPAA)
- Strong stakeholder influence and communication skills (you can “sell” insights, not just present them)
How You’ll Be Measured
- 98%+ reporting accuracy
- Standard insights turned around within agreed SLAs (example: 5 business days for recurring requests)
- 85%+ leadership adoption of dashboards
- YoY improvement in payment attachment and profitability margin
- 10%+ YoY gains in payments process efficiency
- 90%+ project delivery on time, in scope, with measurable impact
My blunt take: this is a legit “prove it with numbers” role. If you don’t like being accountable to metrics (and making leaders actually use your dashboards), it’ll feel like pressure. If you do, it’s a strong lane into fintech-meets-healthcare analytics.
