About American Health Connection (AHC)
American Health Connection is a virtual medical call center partner that supports hospitals, medical centers, and clinic systems with centralized scheduling and patient communications. You’ll be assigned to a client-specific team and trained on that health system’s workflows.
Schedule
- Full-time day shifts
- Monday–Friday
- Must be available for rotating 4th weekends
- 100% remote with virtual training
- “Camera snapshot” visibility requirement during shift (not recorded)
What You’ll Do
- Handle full-service patient scheduling and communications for a health system client
- Take 80+ back-to-back calls per shift in a high-volume environment
- Schedule across hospitals, medical centers, and/or multiple clinics depending on assignment
- Document accurately in EMR/EHR systems with clear, legible written notes
- Support patients with urgency, professionalism, and strong phone etiquette
- Maintain HIPAA compliance in a private, noise-free home workspace
What You Need
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years high-volume medical scheduling experience in a call center environment (preferred)
- 2+ years recent medical office experience (required)
- EMR/EHR experience (required)
- Strong written and verbal communication (spelling, clarity, phone etiquette)
- Sense of urgency and ability to handle nonstop calls
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Comfortable being self-sufficient with desktop computer troubleshooting
- Must reside in the continental U.S.

Real talk: the “no Wi-Fi” rule is intense and could trip people up.
