Schedule
- Full-time day shifts, Monday–Friday
- Must be available for rotating weekends
- Hourly rate: $17.00 starting pay
Responsibilities
- Handle 80+ back-to-back inbound patient calls per shift with professionalism and urgency
- Schedule appointments, answer questions, and provide support for multiple healthcare systems
- Use EMR/EHR systems accurately to update and maintain patient records
- Communicate clearly with patients, providers, and internal teams via phone and written documentation
- Maintain HIPAA compliance in a private, noise-free home office environment
- Collaborate with your assigned virtual team and participate in on-camera sessions as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of high-volume medical scheduling in a call center environment preferred
- 2+ years of medical office experience
- EMR/EHR system knowledge required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with professional phone etiquette
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and technical self-sufficiency
- Private, HIPAA-compliant home workspace
Technical Requirements (must be met after offer acceptance):
- Desktop computer only (Mini, Full Tower, or All-in-One); laptops/Chromebooks not accepted
- Windows 11 or Mac OSX Monterey (or newer)
- Processor: Intel i5 / Ryzen 5 / M1 or better (4–8 cores)
- Memory: 8GB RAM or higher
- Monitor: 22-inch or larger (dual monitors highly recommended)
- USB wired keyboard and mouse (non-mechanical)
- Internet: Cable or Starlink satellite only (wired Ethernet connection required)
- Speed: 60 Mbps download / 15 Mbps upload minimum
- Approved USB noise-canceling headset (must have two at all times)
- Functional webcam
- Cellular phone for two-factor authentication
- Must reside in the continental U.S.
