Primary Responsibilities:

  • Handle inbound and make outbound calls to schedule appointments for patients within American Health Network’s specialty practices.
  • Enter information into patient charts and send tasks to clinical sites
  • Review and check patient eligibility
  • Ensure patient confidentiality with the handling of all patient health information and medical records
  • Communicate all progress and issues with the call center management team
  • Scan and import documents into patient charts

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Experience working in a healthcare or customer service position
  • Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement of this role. UnitedHealth Group will adhere to all federal, state and local regulations as well as all client requirements and will obtain necessary proof of vaccination prior to employment to ensure compliance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a call center environment handling inbound and outbound calls
  • Experience with scheduling appointments
  • Experience with electronic medical records
  • Medical records experience
  • Solid understanding of medical terminology
