Schedule
• Fully remote
• Phone-heavy role with high volume inbound and outbound calls
• Requires a quiet, distraction-free home workspace and reliable high-speed internet
• Works closely with cross-functional teams using Zendesk, an EHR system, and Google Workspace

What You’ll Do
• Serve as the first point of contact for patients, primarily via phone, with discretion, empathy, and follow-through
• Manage a high volume of calls related to patient support, service recovery, scheduling, and care coordination
• Resolve escalated concerns, complaints, or grievances with professionalism, compassion, and sound judgment
• Use service recovery protocols, escalating when appropriate to protect patient safety and experience
• Document interactions thoroughly and accurately in Zendesk and the EHR system
• Act as a patient advocate and liaison across departments to drive timely solutions
• Identify recurring issues and share feedback with leadership to improve the patient experience
• Maintain confidentiality and protect PHI across all platforms and communications

What You Need
• 5+ years in a high-touch, patient-facing role
• 2+ years using Zendesk (or similar ticketing system)
• 2+ years using Athena (or a comparable EHR)
• 2+ years using Google Workspace (required)
• Strong verbal and written communication with the ability to de-escalate and build trust quickly
• Strong judgment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills in escalated situations
• Bilingual (Spanish or another language) is a plus
