Their Patient Service Representative team is the front door: guiding patients, fixing gaps, and making sure the experience feels human even when the system doesn’t.
Schedule

What You’ll Do
• Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, providing clear, professional support
• Handle billing inquiries, insurance questions, complaints, and payment concerns with empathy and accuracy
• Verify insurance coverage and benefits before telehealth appointments in partnership with clinical teams
• Help patients understand their financial responsibility and available payment options
• Resolve billing cases quickly and professionally using Zendesk
• Participate in audits to identify billing discrepancies and trends impacting patients and internal teams
• Support patient registration and intake, including healthcare and insurance forms
• Assist with scheduling appointments, verifying info, collecting payments, and updating EHR
• Protect patient privacy by safeguarding PHI and following regulatory and organizational guidelines
What You Need
• 2–5 years delivering a strong patient or customer experience in healthcare or similar environment
• 1–2 years billing experience (preferred, not required)
• 2 years Zendesk experience
• 2 years Athena experience
• 2 years Google Workplace experience (required)
• Strong verbal and written communication with a polished, patient-friendly tone
• Reliable internet and a quiet, distraction-free workspace
