What You’ll Do
- Gather and enter patient demographic and insurance information for EMS claims
- Work with hospitals, insurers, attorneys, and patients to obtain needed details
- Research online databases and hospital systems for missing data
- Maintain accurate patient records to support timely billing
- Communicate via phone, email, and mail
- Collaborate with internal departments to support claims processing
What You Need
- Billing or patient account experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multitask and handle deadlines
- Professional and courteous phone presence
- Computer literacy; comfortable using dual monitors
- Ability to work independently and ask questions when needed
