- Schedules fall between 8:00 AM–9:00 PM Eastern Time (assigned based on business needs)
- Pay: starts at $14 per hour during training, increases after moving into production
- Pay frequency: weekly
What You’ll Do
⦁ Answer inbound calls and make outbound calls to help members or patients with benefits, scheduling, and service coordination
⦁ Explain plan benefits, eligibility, and coverage clearly and accurately
⦁ Schedule, reschedule, and confirm provider appointments
⦁ Process referrals, authorizations, prescription renewals, and related requests
⦁ Support claims questions, billing inquiries, and account updates
⦁ Verify eligibility and update member records in the system
⦁ Document every interaction accurately in EMR or CRM systems
⦁ Communicate with providers and internal teams by phone, secure messaging, or email
⦁ Follow HIPAA and privacy guidelines and escalate complex issues when needed
What You Need
⦁ High school diploma or equivalent
⦁ 1+ year call center customer service experience
⦁ 1+ year healthcare or health insurance experience (member services, patient services, benefits support, etc.)
⦁ Strong verbal and written communication
⦁ Ability to navigate multiple systems while staying accurate
⦁ Private, dedicated workspace and reliable high speed internet
⦁ Stable work history and strong reliability
⦁ Commitment to a long term role and building a career
