- Mon–Fri, 11–8 CT (10–7 MT / 12–9 ET / 9–6 PT) or
- Tues–Sat, 10–7 CT (9–6 MT / 11–8 ET / 8–5 PT)
- Training: 2 weeks, Mon–Fri, 9–6 CT
- Not available to candidates in AK, CA, CO, ME, NY, WA, MA, OR, NJ, CT, MN, or Washington, DC
Responsibilities
- Proactively contact newly admitted clients via calls, texts, and email to complete financial enrollment
- Explain insurance benefits, out-of-pocket costs, and payment options in clear, compassionate language
- Coordinate with Admissions, Billing, Utilization Review, Outreach, and Clinical teams to resolve issues quickly
- Monitor attendance and intervene early to remove financial barriers to care
- Schedule and reschedule appointments; manage client calendars
- Share aftercare resources and help families book post-program visits
- Document every interaction accurately; protect PHI and maintain HIPAA compliance
- Meet and exceed KPIs: appointments scheduled, financial agreements completed, call volume/talk time, time to resolution, aftercare scheduling rate, CSAT
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s/Bachelor’s a plus)
- 2+ years in customer or patient support, preferably in healthcare or revenue cycle
- 1–2 years with Salesforce or similar CRM (Zendesk, MS Dynamics, Zoho, HubSpot, etc.)
- 1–2 years using contact center tools; comfortable with call metrics
- Experience discussing insurance/medical billing with customers
- Strong written and verbal communication; high emotional intelligence
- Organized, detail-driven, and calm in a fast-paced environment
- HIPAA knowledge; U.S. work authorization; fluent English
- Proficiency with Slack, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Zoom, and EMR systems
- Spanish bilingual a plus
