Schedule
- Full-time, remote position
- Contact Center hours: Monday through Sunday, 7:00 AM – 9:00 PM
- Shifts vary based on business and specialty need
- Evening shifts include a $2.00/hour differential
Responsibilities
- Schedule, cancel, and confirm appointments by aligning patient preferences with physician-specific guidelines
- Provide one-call resolution whenever possible and route non-scheduling inquiries appropriately
- Enter accurate demographic, registration, and insurance information to ensure timely billing and payment
- Respond to multi-channel patient messages related to appointments, referrals, prescriptions, and complaints
- Maintain quality and service goals aligned with contact center metrics
- Participate as a team member to prioritize and complete daily work assignments
- Assist in training new hires and share best practices for patient-centered communication
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum 1 year of related customer service experience required
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish (speak, read, and write)
- Proficiency in computer operations, navigating multiple monitors, and learning new software systems quickly
- Familiarity with medical terminology strongly preferred
- Strong customer service, communication, and computer literacy skills
- Ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues independently
Remote Work Requirements
- Quiet, dedicated workspace free of distractions
- Employer-supplied equipment setup (monitors, keyboard, peripherals)
- High-speed cable modem internet only (DSL, satellite, or cellular not permitted)
- Download: 75 Mbps minimum
- Upload: 25 Mbps minimum
- Ping: <150 ms | Jitter: <30 ms
- Ethernet connection required unless using VPN-secured Wi-Fi
