Schedule
• Full-time
• Remote within the U.S.
• Required availability: flexible days, evenings, and weekends
• Must be able to work at a computer for 6–8 hours daily
Responsibilities
• Communicate with patients via phone, email, chat, SMS, and text to discuss and resolve medical debt
• Achieve performance goals related to resolutions, call quality, and productivity
• Provide customer service support and answer patient questions about billing and account balances
• Profile patients, gather financial details, and update demographic information
• Negotiate appropriate payment arrangements
• Perform account research and resolve non-routine issues
• Document all contact attempts and account actions accurately
• Navigate multiple systems, workflows, and payer requirements
• Follow all federal and state regulations, including HIPAA, FDCPA, FCRA, and Privacy Act standards
• Attend training sessions and integrate new policies into daily work
What You Need
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 6 months call center experience preferred
• Experience in customer service, patient support, or sales
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent listening ability and attention to detail
• Ability to navigate multiple screens and systems
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
• Basic PC competency, including Windows, email systems, and data entry
• Goal-driven mindset with persistence and comfort handling objections
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA/HITECH
• Bilingual (Spanish) strongly preferred
