We are looking for Patient Care Navigators to work full-time (40 hours per week). We are now hiring for our 5/31/22 training class. We are currently hiring for afternoon/evening shifts between the hours of 2p-12a CST with a rotating weekend schedule. A typical day in the life of a Patient Care Navigator
- Provide tech support for patients, such as downloading apps, password resets, addressing connectivity, etc.
- Registering and scheduling patients in the telemedicine system.
- Engaging with physicians during telemedicine visits.
- Engaging with injured or ill patients over the phone and putting them at ease.
- Setting up referrals that may be needed.
- Documenting key data.
- Complying with HIPAA and other privacy rules.
- Responsibly meeting all scheduled shift obligations.
- Handling special projects and duties, include computer-based reporting.
You Must:
- Have a high school degree or GED.
- Be able to engage with physicians.
- Be able to engage injured or ill patients over the phone and put them at ease.
- Be tech savvy with mobile devices and apps and possess the ability to assist users.
- Be able to multitask, be flexible and adaptable.
- Remain calm under pressure.
- Be PC proficient, with the ability to listen and enter data into software accurately.
- Be able to follow a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, or other forms.
You Should:
- Have two years of operational, or customer service/client relations experience (strongly preferred, but not required).
- Have a working knowledge or background in any medical field (strongly preferred, but not required).
- Be comfortable working in a call center environment, with minimal oversight or direct interaction with coworkers.
- Possess excellent verbal/written communication skills.
