This is a seasonal temporary role, not a full-time position.
Attends onsite open enrollment and health care meetings at client locations or virtually. May have to give a presentation on benefits, or be available to answer individual questions. Provides follow up information electronically to appropriate Delta Dental personnel.
This role requires a minimum of two years’ experience with a medical/dental carrier, in dental office billing, or as an insurance broker.

RESPONSIBILITIES
In a group setting or one-on one, compares and contrasts dental plans in order to assist customers with determining the best plan to meet their needs.
In some cases, may be required to guide customers into making a decision when Delta Dental is offered on a voluntary basis.
Provides customers with printed plan information and answers any questions about the plans offered.
Will refer members to customer service for any issues that can’t be answered on site.
QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of dental plans and basic health insurance terminology.
Knowledge of other language(s) preferred.
This role requires a minimum of two years’ experience with a medical/dental carrier, in dental office billing, or as an insurance broker.
High School diploma or GED.
Two years of insurance industry, dental office or human resources experience preferred.
Requires an insurance license in FL and KY
Valid Driver’s license and reliable transportation required. Proof of automobile insurance with minimum liability limits required by the state the employee lives in.
Base Pay Information
The national base pay range at the end is a good-faith estimate of what Delta Dental may pay for new hires. Actual pay may vary based on Delta Dental’s assessment of the candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, certifications and ability to meet required minimum job qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include prevailing wages in the work location and internal equity. $39,000 – $73,200
