Schedule
- Full-time
- Remote, must reside in VA, WV, MD, or DE
- Regular regional travel required
- Performs clinical ultrasound two days per week
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day sonography operations across assigned states
- Lead and support a multi-site sonographer team
- Perform ultrasound exams weekly to maintain clinical skills and field connection
- Monitor KPIs including volume, quality, and patient satisfaction
- Manage staffing, schedule coverage, and resource allocation
- Ensure regulatory compliance and clinical protocol adherence
- Partner with clinical, administrative, and executive leaders
- Support training, onboarding, and professional development for staff
- Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency
Requirements
- ARDMS (or equivalent) required
- 5+ years clinical ultrasound experience
- 2+ years leadership/supervisory experience in imaging or healthcare operations
- Multi-site management experience strongly preferred
- Proficient across a range of ultrasound exams
- Knowledge of QA, compliance, PACS/EMR, and equipment workflows
- Strong people leadership, scheduling, and workforce planning ability
- Analytical mindset with KPI awareness and process improvement focus
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within region
