- This position pays between $56,800 – $108,900 based on experience

The Operational Assessment Auditor is responsible for conducting thorough audits of operational processes and systems to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for improvement. This role requires a keen eye for detail, stronganalytical skills, and the abilityto communicate findingseffectively to leadership and operational teams.
Job Responsibilities:

Audit Preparation and Execution:
- Identify audit inventory by compiling high-impact accounts from source reports.
- Prepare audit sheets by adding accounts to a centralized Teams audit template by functional area.
- Execute audits by reviewing accounts in respective systems and determining root causes based on initial findings
Categorization and Summarization:
- Categorize audit findings and summarize them into pivot tables to clearly show the impact.
- Determine the scope and scale of impact on the total population of inventory based on sample findings.
Deliverables and Presentation:
- Document and create reports for internal review of findings.
- Present findings to leadership and operational teams to explain the impact on inventory.
System and Functional Knowledge:
- Possess knowledge of systems such as EPIC, Cerner, Meditech, and various billing scrubbers.
- Understand functional areas for Acute and PRC, including AR, Denials, Billing, Self Pay, Credits, and Cash.
Technical Skills:
- Demonstrate intermediate Excel skills, including the use of tables, vlookups, and pivot tables.
- Maintain and upkeep centralized trackers and deliverables in shared Teams sites.
Root Cause Analysis:
Conduct root cause analysis to find consistent trends for categorization.
Explain findings to leaders and operational teams to support the compilation of deliverables
Flexibility and Learning:
Flex across multiple clients with potentially conflicting priorities.
Show willingness to learn other functional areas to improve auditing scope.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and share them with the team.
- See trends in audit findings and identify the impact on the total population based on sample findings.
Communication and Influence:
- Exhibit strong communication skills and the ability to influence, involve others, and build trust.
- Present a presence that denotes credibility, advocacy, and instills confidence in outcomes.
Experience We Love:
- 1 to 3 Years of previous experience in a similar role
- CRCR certification, or willingness to obtain within 9 months of hire
