Online Fitness Instructor – contract opportunity 

Description/Responsibilities

Develop, administer, and deliver virtual fitness classes for the older adult population.

Instructor will support Tivity Health and SilverSneakers with online (ZOOM) class instruction.

Employment Status: Independent Contractor

Location: Remote

Hours of Work: Contractual, dependent on task.

We are looking for instructors who are available to teach consistently, at the same time, throughout the week (for example, M/W/F at 11:00am).

• Provide excellent customer service resulting in an improved member experience.
• Administer, organize, and deliver core and specialized online fitness classes.
• Demonstrate proper form, technique, and safety guidelines for online member classes.

Qualifications

• Hold current group exercise, personal trainer certification from accredited organization, or other certification from a specialized discipline.
• Expert knowledge of health, wellness, and fitness industry standards.
• Experience teaching older adult fitness.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in delivering online fitness classes or development and filming of on-camera fitness content.
• Completion of SilverSneakers Foundations online training within 6 months of signing contract.
• High degree of computer literacy (Microsoft Office), technology, and other virtual training tools (for example, laptop with access to internet and email).
• Ability to function independently with little supervision.
• Excellent interpersonal relationship and leadership skills.
• High speed internet with minimum 15Mbps upload/150Mbps download speed.
• Hold current professional liability insurance.

Current pay rate:  $50 per class
