The Role

Our Fulfillment Team is growing and we are looking for an Onboarding Specialist. If you’re looking to join a team that cares about meeting and exceeding client expectations and has fun doing it, we invite you to apply.

As an Onboarding Specialist, you are responsible for configuring new client accounts and educating clients on the fulfillment lifecycle. Your main goal is to set clients up for success with ShipHero Fulfillment. Clients look to you as a knowledgeable guide and you enjoy being curious and sharing what you know with others. Collaborating daily with Sales, Operations, and Customer Success, which you enjoy because you love to communicate and work with others.

This is a remote position with regular communication using video chat and Slack. Applicants should be able to work during regular business hours in the Eastern Time Zone (8am-5pm).

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet with customers as needed to set up accounts (virtual meetings and phone)
  • Advise customers of the most efficient way to configure account settings based on business needs
  • Provide initial training to customers on the fulfillment workflow end-to-end
  • Educate customers on software usage and how to contact support after active shipping begins
  • Proactively assist warehouses with inquiries, errors, and special requests

The best applicants have:

  • At least 1 year previous experience in eCommerce Fulfillment or Logistics/Warehouse Operations
  • Previous experience in client service role, interacting with clients at all levels of an organization on a regular basis
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Project management expertise and deadline driven
  • Natural curiosity and enjoyment for continuous learning
  • Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
  • Work ethic that excels in a autonomous environment and the ability to self-motivate

Additional Job Details

Via email, phone and chat, you will communicate with clients and team members. You will collaborate with multiple teams and manage a variety of project timelines to completion. You will be receptive to feedback and seek to improve your skills.
