As a Colonial Penn Telesales Life Insurance Representative, depending on your location, you can earn a minimum base hourly pay between $15.10 and $19.57 per hour. The actual hourly rate is determined by factors including relevant work experience, skills, and location. This position is eligible for a monthly sales incentive, without charge backs.

Colonial Penn is looking for candidates with call center, customer service, or sales experience to be trained and tested to become licensed agents. You will be paid during the 2 weeks of training leading up to licensure exams. Colonial Penn will pay for your 1st Licensing Exam. If you pass the examination (minimum score of 70% required), then you will become a Colonial Penn Telesales Insurance Agent.

As a Colonial Penn Telesales Agent, you will enjoy stable hours and work/life balance, while building your income. You will speak with customers responding with interest to our TV commercials, mailing campaigns and ever-expanding web presence from the comfort of your own home! There is no Cold Calling. There is never any charge for any leads you receive, and all leads are company provided. This is a full-time W-2 captive agent position, which gives you the benefits of a full-time associate. After successfully completing training and achieving licensure, you will have the opportunity for:

Bilingual Spanish Speaking agents can earn additional base hourly pay.

We will have our next training cohort starting Monday, June 3, 2024.
Our team is growing and adding new team members to all our shifts!

Day Shift in the various time zones:

Monday-Friday

Eastern 9am to 6pm OR 10am to 7pm
Central 8am to 5pm OR 9am to 6pm
Mountain 8am to 5pm

Evening Shift in the various time zones:

Monday-Friday

Eastern 1:00 pm to 10:00 pm
Central 12:30 pm to 9:00 pm (1/2-hour lunch at start of shift) OR
12:00 pm to 9:00 pm (full hour lunch at start of shift)
Mountain 11am to 8pm
Pacific 10am to 7pm

All shifts require that you work every fourth Saturday from 9am to 6pm eastern, and you’ll get a flex day off in return the same week!

What you’ll need:

HS Diploma or GED.
At least 1 year of customer service, sales or call center experience.
Comfort working on a computer, including working with email & CRM systems.
High-speed, hardwired internet connection at home, with 100 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload.
Availability to attend remote training Monday-Friday 9AM to 6PM EST between
(June 3rd through June 14th)
To remain employed in this position, you must pass the licensure exams at the end of training.
Willingness to work as a captive agent (W2) for Colonial Penn only after licensure. An exclusive appointment with Colonial Penn is required for this opportunity.

Associates who live outside of a 60-mile radius of a corporate office (Birmingham, Carmel, Chicago, Orlando, and Milwaukee) may perform this role full-time work from home (WFH) from any US based location. All associates may be asked to travel to various corporate offices periodically. Work cannot be performed from outside of the United States.
