Who You Are:
As Nutrabolt’s National Account Director, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction on the sales and profitability of Nutrabolt’s FDMC channel for our active nutrition business with a focus on major national food retailers. In addition to building mutually beneficial relationships with our customer partners, you will drive business development and brand expansion through new and existing FMDC customer base. You will effectively review and manage the implementation of trade spend.
This role is eligible to participate in our Sales Bonus Plan.
What You’re Good At:
- Achieving annual budget goals and driving market share growth in addition to meeting/exceeding/controlling other KPI’s including but not limited to gross sales, net sales, contribution margin, trade spend, %ACV, share, and fair Share Index
- Account level forecasting and demand planning
- Cultivating and managing 360-degree retailers relationships including buyers, (and above), demand planners, customer logistics and trade marketing
- Managing financial budget for promotional/trade schedules across all pertinent channels of business
- Building custom sales pitch decks for channel & customer relevant Nutrabolt products and presenting on chain calls at customer HQs all over the US to gain new business, optimize current business and build strong direct relationships
- Setting and attending meetings as new business opportunities present themselves
- Managing & reporting POS data, promotional schedules, and financial results for each customer
- Managing account level P&L for slotting/trade & other business-related fees
- Working with cross functional leadership and collaborating amongst internal logistics, finance and marketing groups
- In this role your goals and KPIs will be focused around:
- Revenue and profit targets
- TPD, share, %ACV, and other targets
- Adherence to assigned budget
- Internal and external collaboration
What You Contribute:
- 8+ years of experience and a proven track record managing and growing CPG sales in the HBC/Active nutrition FDM space including major national grocers such as Kroger, Albertsons, and Safeway
- A pedigree of results building accounts that goes beyond adding total points of distribution
- Bachelor’s degree or strong experience-based credentials
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Has strong knowledge of CPG sales process and command of key retailers GTM strategy and business terms
