Collaborate daily with Marketing, Flock Studios, web, and product teams across time zones.
Most work happens during standard U.S. business hours, with flexibility around launches, campaigns, and events.
What You’ll Do
- Own motion design across marketing channels, including website, product launches, paid ads, sales tools, and tentpole events.
- Develop and document Flock’s motion style guide, setting standards for animation, transitions, pacing, and visual language.
- Partner with in house videographers to edit, polish, and ship video projects that feel cohesive and on brand.
- Work with the web designer to create scroll based animations, microinteractions, and Lottie animations that fit the new brand system.
- Build a scalable motion component library, including lower thirds, transitions, animated iconography, and product UI animations.
- Guide stakeholders through the motion design process, from concept and storyboards or animatics through final delivery.
- Produce motion assets for campaigns across Meta, YouTube, LinkedIn, CTV, email, and social, aligned with platform best practices.
- Manage the motion queue and keep projects on track, balancing quick turn requests with larger campaign work.
- Support product launches and events like Flock Together with mainstage and brand defining motion content.
What You Need
- Four to six years of professional Motion Design experience, ideally with an in house team or production studio.
- A portfolio that shows strong conceptual thinking, brand consistency, and polished motion work.
- Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, plus industry standard multimedia tools.
- Deep understanding of typography, pacing, transitions, and narrative structure in motion storytelling.
- Experience producing paid ads for Meta, YouTube, LinkedIn, and connected TV, with an understanding of social media best practices.
- Comfort creating Lottie animations and partnering with developers to bring motion into web and product experiences.
- Ability to work independently, juggle multiple projects, and iterate quickly on feedback.
- Strong collaboration skills and the confidence to champion your ideas with cross functional partners.
- Willingness to work in an iterative, feedback heavy process and refine work until it is ready for prime time.
- 3D skills are a plus but not required.
