As a Member Support Specialist with Medical Guardian, you’ll provide best-in-class service for members using our medical alert devices, supporting them with activations, troubleshooting, billing, and more. Schedule
- Full-time, remote role
- Compensation: $17 per hour
- Start Date: Monday, October 27
- Must reside permanently in: AZ, DE, FL, GA, KY, KS, MA, MD, MI, NJ, OH, PA, SC, ID, IL, NC, TN, WV, or TX
- Perfect attendance required during the first 60 days of employment
- Must have a dedicated workspace and reliable high-speed internet
What You’ll Do
- Answer inbound calls from members and caregivers regarding orders, billing, products, or account services
- Guide members through troubleshooting, navigating the company site, or using products effectively
- Maintain thorough knowledge of products, services, and billing practices to provide accurate information
- Perform account updates and document conversations completely and accurately
- De-escalate dissatisfied members and provide solutions to resolve issues
- Promote additional products and services during calls, including upselling opportunities
- Collaborate with team members to continuously improve the member experience
- Meet personal and team performance objectives
What You Need
- High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
- 2+ years of call center or member-facing service experience (preferred)
- Proficiency with computers and ability to multi-task across systems
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
- Active listening skills with ability to probe and resolve issues effectively
- Professional, compassionate, and enthusiastic approach to serving members
