What You’ll Do
⦁ Provide excellent member service through the call center with a professional, helpful tone
⦁ Navigate multiple systems while actively assisting members by phone and other channels
⦁ Perform account maintenance (address changes, name updates, file maintenance) accurately
⦁ Conduct consultative conversations to understand member needs and recommend relevant products and services
⦁ Open new accounts and shares accurately and promptly while building rapport and trust
⦁ Research account concerns, errors, and discrepancies and provide resolution and prevention guidance
⦁ Process electronic transaction requests (transfers, loan payments, check orders, etc.)
⦁ Participate in training, coaching, team meetings, and required learning initiatives
⦁ Collaborate with internal teams to resolve member issues and support department goals
⦁ Follow all compliance requirements (NCUA, BSA/AML, Fair Lending, FCRA, and related policies)

What You Need
⦁ High school diploma or GED (Bachelor’s degree a plus)
⦁ 1+ year experience in a call center or customer service environment
⦁ Comfort using multiple computer applications while staying engaged with the customer
⦁ Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to multitask
⦁ Working knowledge of PC tools including Word and Excel
⦁ Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to listen, clarify, and advise appropriately
⦁ Preferred: exposure to consumer lending or new account opening in a financial setting
