Overview

BroadPath is immediately hiring a Member Service Associate to join our remote team. Our Member Service Associate will play a crucial role in assisting our members by responding to inquiries via phone, mail, and email. In this role you will provide accurate information and resolve issues efficiently with empathy and a positive, customer-focused approach. Your primary goal will be to achieve comprehensive ‘first call resolution’ through exceptional customer service, superior product knowledge, and effective collaboration with internal and external partners. 
Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service to our members by accurately responding to their inquiries and resolving issues promptly
  • Serve as a knowledgeable and empathetic advocate for members, providing navigational support for health insurance processes and online systems
  • Support healthcare providers, insurance agents, and brokers with the same customer-focused approach
  • Foster and maintain close working relationships with all clients, adopting a proactive and problem-solving mindset to meet their needs
  • Ensure ‘first call resolution’ through a thorough understanding of products and effective partnership with business partners

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year Call Center or Clerical Customer Service experience  
  • Excellent verbal and Communication Skills 
  • Ability to Multitask and Prioritize task in a High Paced Environment 
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Windows, keyboarding skills, strong systems aptitude) 
  • Advanced Computer keyboarding and data entry skills 
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience working with health insurance, or a healthcare environment is preferred

What you will provide:

  • Your own 19″ monitor (or larger) with VGA or HDMI port with corresponding cable, USB wired mouse, ethernet cable, and optional USB wired keyboard
  • Reliable hardwired internet with at least 25mbps download and 10mbps upload speeds
  • Please note that all Internet Speed Tests are monitored and will be verified. They must be taken on a laptop or desktop computer and plugged directly into your router
