The US Oncology Network is seeking Medical Insurance Specialists to support patient billing and collections. In this full-time remote role, you’ll help manage patient accounts, resolve billing problems, and ensure claims are processed accurately—all while contributing to the fight against cancer.

Schedule
- Full-time, remote position
- Daytime hours, with minimal travel as needed
- Pay range: $17 – $25 per hour
What You’ll Do
- Monitor delinquent accounts and perform collection duties
- Review and resolve billing and payment posting issues
- Work with co-workers to address insurance payment errors
- Contact patients to secure past-due balances and verify demographics/insurance
- Answer patient billing and insurance questions while resolving complaints
- Recommend accounts for collection or write-off as needed
- Maintain credit balances and process timely refunds per regulations
- Ensure compliance with confidentiality, HIPAA, and state/federal guidelines
What You Need
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of combined medical billing and payment experience
- Knowledge of state, federal, and third-party claims processing
- Familiarity with collection guidelines and claims regulations
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to complete required e-learning within 90 days of hire
