pMD is seeking contract Medical Claims Resolution Specialists to support physician practices with claim follow-up and resolution. In this role, you’ll aggressively pursue unpaid claims, appeal denials, and ensure compliance—helping maximize revenue while maintaining top-tier standards in healthcare billing.

Schedule
- Contract role, remote (U.S. only)
- Flexible hours between 8 AM and 6 PM EST
- Minimum 20 hours per week required
What You’ll Do
- Contact insurance carriers to resolve unpaid or denied claims
- Research claim status and take corrective action to ensure compliance with payer guidelines
- Prepare and submit claim appeals with supporting documentation
- Document all account activities in pMD’s software
- Meet productivity goals (7 encounters per hour / 175 per week)
- Maintain full compliance with HIPAA and all regulatory guidelines
What You Need
- Prior collections or medical billing experience with ICD-10, HCPCS, and medical terminology
- Strong communication skills with payers and exceptional attention to detail
- Active Microsoft Word subscription and access to a printer with supplies
- Ability to work independently with high accuracy and timeliness
- Must reside in the U.S. and be authorized to work as a contractor
- W-9 required (must operate as a sole proprietor or LLC under contractor guidelines)
Compensation
- $6.00 per verified claim (paid on a per-claim basis)
