This role never involves collecting money from patients — instead, you’ll work with payers, insurers, and other responsible parties to resolve outstanding claims.

What You’ll Do
- Use Artiva workflow tools to follow up on unpaid hospital bills and claims across multiple payers, including insurance, veteran’s benefits, worker’s comp, attorneys, and employers
- Analyze denied or unpaid claims, identify root causes, and determine next steps
- Pursue and obtain missing details such as patient, employer, or accident information to support claim resolution
- Draft appeals and ensure timely filing deadlines are met for maximum reimbursement
- Escalate complex or challenging accounts to management to ensure progress
- Document actions clearly and accurately in client and payer systems
- Identify recurring denial trends and share insights with leadership
What You Need
- High school diploma or GED
- Professionalism and strict adherence to HIPAA requirements and debt collection regulations
- Moderate computer proficiency (MS Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Mathematical ability to calculate rates and reimbursements
- Familiarity with CPT and ICD coding preferred
