Schedule
- 100% remote (work from home)
- Monday–Friday, standard business hours
- Team operates on Eastern Time
- Equipment provided
- Personal phone required for outbound calls to insurance carriers
What You’ll Do
- Work commercial insurance claims that are pending, denied, on hold, or incorrectly paid
- Investigate claim holds to identify root causes and take action to release them
- Analyze denials and complete appropriate follow-up, including appeals when needed
- Submit additional documentation to insurance carriers to support proper claim processing
- Handle correspondence via mail and email
- Process refunds when necessary
- Complete other tasks as assigned by management
What You Need
- Strong computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Typing speed of at least 40 WPM
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage high volume work and tight deadlines
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with a professional phone presence
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and represent the company well on calls
- Strong organization and prioritization skills
- Helpful: experience in a metrics-driven environment where calls/output are monitored and scored
