Schedule
- Full-time, permanent position
- Fully remote work environment
- Standard office hours (Mon–Fri, business hours – specific schedule set by department)
- Requires reliable high-speed internet (minimum 100 Mbps download / 25 Mbps upload) for remote access and systems use
What You’ll Do
- Process and submit accurate, timely invoices to clients using multiple billing systems
- Follow up on outstanding payments and resolve billing discrepancies with professionalism and clarity
- Respond to client billing inquiries and provide status updates on payments as needed
- Maintain detailed records of all billing and collection activities
- Assist with month-end closing and billing-related reporting
- Set up new client accounts and update existing accounts for Allied’s book of business
- Audit account setups and changes to ensure accuracy and correct allocation
- Create and maintain Excel spreadsheets to track services and activity for multiple clients
- Maintain and update Access databases to track client services and activity
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate, timely billing and smooth processes
- Perform other related billing and finance tasks as assigned
What You Need
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in billing and collections (medical billing or healthcare-related billing is a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial work
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, especially over phone and email
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; familiarity with databases (Access) and accounting software
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting and collaborate effectively with a distributed team
- Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and customer focus
