Schedule
• Full-time remote role (Utah preferred; open to USA)
• Standard business hours
• High-volume claim processing environment
• Collaboration with AR Market Leaders and billing teams
What You’ll Do
• Monitor eligibility, authorizations, and payer requirements to prepare clean Medicaid/Managed Care claims
• Enter and validate demographics and diagnosis codes in PCC
• Set up insurance information according to payer guidelines
• Generate and submit Medicaid claims through Waystar or other third-party portals
• Resolve rejections within required timelines and submit appeals/reconsiderations
• Review billing reports and flag issues impacting reimbursement
• Complete refunds, write-offs, and month-end close tasks in PCC
• Upload required month-end documentation to internal systems
• Support teammates and provide coverage to maintain department productivity
• Communicate system or payer-related issues to leadership
What You Need
• High school diploma or GED
• Healthcare billing experience preferred (Medicaid a plus)
• Strong accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to work efficiently with large claim volumes
• Comfortable with billing software, claim portals, and new systems
• Ability to follow written/oral instructions and maintain confidentiality
• Professional communication and tact when interacting with internal teams and external partners
