- Work is case-based and requires timely responses across multiple disputes and clients
What You’ll Do
- Manage the dispute process for multiple assigned clients while learning each client’s policies and procedures
- Run directive shuttle mediations (one party at a time) via email and phone
- Resolve order disputes including shipping issues, shortages, and “not as described” claims
- Use due diligence, critical thinking, basic math, and negotiation to determine fair outcomes
- Set clear expectations with buyers and sellers through consistent, timely communication
- De-escalate high-stress situations while keeping the process professional and productive
- Flag potential abuse of the dispute process for internal review
- Partner with Account Managers to identify dispute trends and recommend policy/process improvements that reduce disputes and improve buyer experience
What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree
- Basic mediation training (or equivalent coursework)
- Strong written and verbal communication and sound decision-making
- Strong customer service, persuasion, and problem resolution skills
- Solid time management and organization with the ability to juggle multiple cases
- Comfort with web-based tools and Microsoft Office, including Excel
- Basic math and accounting understanding
- Collaborative, self-managed, and results-oriented, with a long-term interest in dispute resolution as a career path
