Humana’s Internal Media Center of Excellence (COE) is seeking a Media Marketing Professional 1 to join the team. In this role, you will market products and/or services using a variety of media channels, promotions and events designed to increase sales and awareness for the organization. You will work collaboratively across the media campaign life cycle: briefing, strategy, tactical, launch, and reporting. Additionally, this role will partner closely with our media/creative/web agencies on execution. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an agile marketing team, build your media and creative skill set and contribute significantly to Humana’s extensive portfolio of healthcare lines of businesses.
The Media Marketing Professional 1 is a self-starter who will assist with identifying target audiences and specific message tactics. A successful individual will be able to digest and understand campaign reporting; coordinate end-to-end digital and TV media and creative campaign strategy, planning implementation, measurement and analysis that support ongoing customer acquisition and product awareness efforts. Maintaining campaign-related documentation (e.g., media plans, creative briefs, media reporting etc.) will also be of importance.
Anyone located in Chicago, IL, Washington, DC or Louisville, KY will have the option to work in-office, remote or hybrid and may be required to be in the office for in-person collaboration depending on business needs. All others will be 100% remote. This role operates during EST/CST business hours.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field
- 1+ years of experience (including internships) in Media Marketing Strategy and Communications
- Demonstrate willingness to learn business, marketing strategy, digital marketing, media marketing, content strategy
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at one time and meet deadlines
- Highly detail oriented, organized and proactive
- Relationship building and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong planning and time management skills
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office
- Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in the health insurance industry
- Prior Media or Agency experience

- Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership
- Employees who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.
- Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
- Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$47,700 – $65,600 per year
