Position Overview:
The Marketing Support Specialist will assist our marketing communications teams, working closely with digital accounts, and ensuring the effective execution of digital advertising campaigns. The ideal candidate will have experience in social media engagement, digital advertising, email marketing, and event marketing. The ideal candidate will have Smartsheet experience.
Position Requirements:
- A minimum of an Associate’s Degree in marketing/communications or a related field, or equivalent experience of at least 3 years in marketing with 2 in digital marketing
- Must have experience with maintaining event Smartsheet (or a willingness to learn) and tracking expenses; social media digital and traditional marketing with a focus on paid social media and paid digital advertising.
- Must be proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Facebook Business Manager.
- Must have basic working knowledge of Google Analytics
- Familiarity with Salesforce and Tableau is a plus (must be willing to learn
- Knowledge and understanding of church /non-profit industry is needed.
- Knowledge of The United Methodist Church is a plus.
