The Opportunity…

We’re looking for someone passionate about supporting a team that works directly with our licensed insurance agency, QuoteManage. This role will oversee a team that works directly with insurance agents that are either new candidates for licensed agents or already licensed to sell insurance. You will be responsible for owning the licensing and contracting process for our licensed insurance agency. This role will have responsibilities with managing a team and a business process to support getting agents ready to sell insurance with proper licensing and contracting. The lines of insurance include Health, Medicare and Life insurance. This role will actively engage in maintaining relationships with the insurance carriers and learning the licensing system and reporting and data to manage the agent “ready to sell” process. The Manager, Agent Licensing and Contracting will manage business KPI’s to support efficient agent onboarding. 

How You’ll Contribute…

  • Serve as the people Manager of the licensing and contracting team. This includes hiring, supporting and conducting performance reviews of the team members.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact to insurance carriers in all matters related to agent contracting and agent release processes. Develop trusted, successful relationships with all insurance carrier contacts.
  • Lead internal meetings with sales operations; discuss ongoing objectives and key KPI’s
  • Serve as the business expert to internal stakeholders on insurance licensing requirements and agent contracting and state appointment processes.
  • Cross-collaborate with Sales teams to deliver licensing and contracting business metrics.
  • Identify opportunities to improve business metrics and establish tracking of tasks for operational efficiency and cost reduction.
  • Work with the Sales team to identify opportunities to improve KPI performance.
  • Lead internal meetings with sales operations; discuss ongoing objectives and report on key KPIs
  • Track all tasks and projects with a full understanding of goals and ability to provide direction
  • Assist with challenging customer asks and issue escalations as needed
  • Contribute material and present during Quarterly Business Reviews

What We’re Looking For…

  • Minimum 2 years of Brokerage Licensing and contracting management experience
  • Knowledge of and experience with insurance licensing and contracting for Medicare, Health and Life insurance. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Analytical mind who can convert metrics into action items
  • Ability to absorb information quickly and turn complex ideas into easy to digest results
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple projects and clients at one time while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong problem solving and networking skills; ability to proactively find resources to create a solution
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Critical thinker, with the ability to roll up your sleeves and get creative
