Long-Term Care Planning Consultant (Part-time)
We are looking for a compassionate and knowledgeable Long-Term Care Planning Consultant with a strong focus on financial planning and financial assistance planning to work with clients remotely. In this role, you will conduct thorough assessments, develop detailed written reports, and provide one-on-one consultations with clients to help them navigate their long-term care options and financial strategies.
Specific Job Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ health, financial situation, and future care needs.
- Develop personalized long-term care planning reports with detailed financial recommendations, including strategies for protecting assets and qualifying for financial assistance programs.
- Provide remote consultations to discuss the written report and address clients’ questions and concerns.
- Guide clients through the financial aspects of long-term care planning, offering expert advice on potential living arrangements, financial strategies, and other long-term care options.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of long-term care resources, financial planning tools, and relevant regulations.
- Ensure clients’ plans are regularly reviewed and updated as needed.
- Work collaboratively with Certified Care Managers and other team members to deliver exceptional service.
Qualifications
- Certified Care Manager (CCM) or equivalent certification preferred.
- Proven experience in long-term care planning, geriatric care management, or a related field, with a strong focus on financial planning.
- In-depth understanding of financial assistance programs, asset protection strategies, and financial planning tools related to long-term care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Proficient with remote communication tools and technology.
- Compassionate, client-focused, and dedicated to providing high-quality service.
