What You’ll Do
- Own lifecycle programs that drive activation, adoption, and retention, including trial conversion nurtures, MBA student trial programs, and enterprise journey flows.
- Map and continuously refine the customer journey in partnership with customer success, sales, marketing, and product.
- Plan, build, and optimize automated email drips, trigger campaigns, and multi channel lifecycle programs across the funnel.
- Curate and send customer facing newsletters that educate, engage, and nudge users toward deeper product value.
- Segment audiences and personalize messaging based on behavior, stage, and role so the right people get the right message at the right time.
- Write clear, customer centric copy for post sale communications, including triggered emails and web personalization.
- Monitor and report on lifecycle metrics such as trial conversion, engagement, adoption, and retention, then use that data to improve programs.
- Partner with product teams to understand new features and roadmaps so lifecycle campaigns support feature awareness and usage.
- Ensure all lifecycle efforts stay aligned with brand voice, legal requirements, and industry best practices.
What You Need
- At least 5 years of experience in customer marketing or lifecycle marketing in B2B SaaS with a track record of successful trial nurture programs.
- Hands on experience with customer journey mapping and designing lifecycle strategies across stages.
- Strong background with marketing automation platforms such as Marketo or Outreach, plus familiarity with in product and chat tools such as Chameleon or Qualified.
- Experience working with CRM and customer success systems such as Salesforce and Catalyst.
- Solid data skills and comfort using analytics and reporting tools to make decisions; familiarity with Tableau is a plus.
- Proven ability to segment audiences, run A/B tests, and optimize email deliverability and performance.
- Excellent project management and stakeholder management skills across distributed teams.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to turn product value into clear, compelling lifecycle copy.
- A builder mindset with comfort around data workflows and modern marketing tech stacks.
