Job Overview:

Under the direction of Corporate Counsel, the Legal Administrative Assistant will support the Mitratech legal team by performing administrative tasks such as filing, corresponding with other departments, and reviewing documents to verify correctness. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
•    Assist with electronic management of new and existing documents.
•    Delegate tasks that come through the legal team’s intake email
•    Manage workflow of customer contracts to ensure timely processing.
•    Obtain signatures on a variety of company documents.
•    Manage content of contract database and contract management system through performing data input.
•    Locate contract terms and existing agreements to assist staff attorneys
•    Update content on multiple enterprise content management software systems, including SharePoint and Salesforce.
•    Draft letters, meeting agendas, and other correspondence; prepare training decks, take meeting notes, and update templates and documentation.
•    Provide support for routine questions and inquiries received from internal clients.
•    Other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements & Skills:
•    Associate’s Degree, but Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Extra preference if degree is in Legal Studies or a related field. Paralegal certification is a plus, but not required.
•    1-3 years corporate legal or law firm experience required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
•    Superior organizational skills to maintain order of files and prioritize work.
•    Strong reading comprehension skills, especially as they relate to legal documents.
•    Proficiency in acting as liaison with sales, prospects and clients.
•    Must be able to work in a high-paced environment handling multiple tasks concurrently with great attention to detail.
