Job Summary
As a Leave and Disability Examiner, you will secure and analyze information to make decisions on short-term disability and state disability insurance claims, alongside concurrent leave claims like FMLA. You’ll develop and apply claim management strategies, ensuring timely communications and exceptional customer service for employees and employers. Your role involves investigating eligibility, analyzing medical conditions, and managing documentation to determine benefits entitlement. You’ll also coordinate disability and leave decisions, provide accurate claim information, and resolve issues through effective communication.
Skills and Background You’ll Need
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in office administration or customer service.
- Familiarity with leave, benefits, or disability claim management preferred.
- Ability to manage detailed information accurately and efficiently.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.

Please note – the salary range for this role is listed below. In addition to salary, our package includes incentive plan participation and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits, as well as an initial PTO accrual of 164 hours per year. Employees also receive 11 paid holidays and 2 wellness days per year.
