What You’ll Do
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of benefits configuration analysts supporting client implementations
- Manage delivery of plan builds, documentation, and ongoing maintenance to meet or exceed SLAs
- Track performance using scorecards and productivity metrics, and provide consistent feedback
- Handle scheduling, workload distribution, time-off approvals, and overtime coordination
- Build and maintain pharmacy benefit plans based on client requirements across multiple platforms
- Own plan configuration structure and data integrity for assigned accounts
- Support escalations and complex configuration requests with hands-on leadership
- Drive process and workflow improvements, leveraging new system capabilities and best practices
- Communicate project status to leadership and escalate issues when needed
- Ensure internal inquiries (member support, customer success, etc.) are resolved quickly to protect the member experience
What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of benefits configuration experience in healthcare or health insurance
- 2+ years of people leadership experience in a PBM or medical insurance environment (preferred)
- Ability to analyze benefit plan design and translate it into claims system configuration rules
- Strong Excel skills and sharp analytical ability
- Excellent organization and communication skills (written + verbal)
- Self-starter mindset with strong judgment, creative problem-solving, and follow-through
- Execution-focused, solutions-oriented, efficiency-driven approach
- Comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced tech environment
