Responsibilities
- Prepare status reports on billing activity
- Analyze billing trends and recommend process improvements
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies
- Support financial reporting with accurate billing data and analysis
- Ensure invoices align with contract terms and compliance standards
- Coordinate with sales, operations, contracts, accounting, and other teams
- Calculate billable data and deliver timely results
- Support ad hoc financial reporting and audit preparation
- Maintain accurate billing documentation and record keeping
- Research and respond to internal and external billing inquiries
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 0–2 years’ experience in billing, accounting, or financial operations
- Strong organization, time-management, and multitasking skills
- Proficiency in billing systems and invoice processes
- Familiarity with GAAP and revenue recognition principles
- Ability to analyze data and create reporting to support decisions
- Effective communicator with strong follow-through
- Detail-oriented and willing to take ownership of tasks
- Ability to work independently and collaborate cross-functionally
Preferred
- Experience in SaaS / software environment
- Skills in account reconciliation and financial accuracy
